The Monroe County Fair Board is continuing this year to offer a specialized Sponsorship Package for your family and/or business as we started in 2019!  This is an ongoing project for Monroe County that when we started, we hoped would grow year after year…and it has beyond our imagination!   We are very excited to be able to offer this out again in 2024 and we hope that you also find this beneficial with your business advertising budget.

The Monroe County Fair has a very long history here in Monroe County and has impacted the lives of many families.  The driving force is the great 4-H & FFA Members and Families that put forth the best weeklong show this county has to offer every July!  Supporting our youth and their efforts and providing a safe environment is the board’s top priority and we strive year-round to increase revenue to be able to keep the grounds and buildings in top shape for use.  As we are all aware buildings and structures need continual upkeep and maintenance and that takes more money each year.  The board is seeing light at the end of the tunnel as the hog building was paid off in 2020 which was a year ahead of schedule and we were able to develop a new structure to house the growing goat show with a lot of sponsor help.  We are looking at some very old structures and basic infrastructure that are rotting from the ground up and desperately need to be replaced in the future so that community and family events can continue to be held on the fairgrounds.  In addition to improvements, we have also been looking at being able to provide a larger style carnival and grandstand events which we are striving to accomplish.   In 2024 we are looking at a new restroom facility on the grounds.  More information and images will be coming soon!  Your donations have greatly attributed to these efforts!!!

The sponsorship program has been a winning situation for everyone!  It is easy and user friendly with some great added bonuses for your family and/or business.  It is broken down into 4 categories that each bring attention to you…the donor and your employees.   Through your generous sponsorship your family and/or business is highlighted in many ways all year long.  We also have options to help personalize your sponsorship plan and give you sponsorship of events that are on the schedule currently or create a new event!  Some of you reading this already graciously sponsor an event or award or multiple things.  This sponsorship program will enhance that and as you can see some will include what you currently give presently for your added convenience.  The Monroe County Fair Board advertises in all aspects of local radio, newspaper, and social media which will all be increased in 2024 to better fit our needs and yours.   Looking at some great new marketing plans to unveil very soon and I am sure that you will be as excited as we are!  

The process to become an important and valued sponsor is very easy.  Please simply send an e-mail to Angela Wilson at monroecountyiafair@gmail.com expressing your interest or contact a committee member listed below.  Within 48 hours you will receive a response with a form attachment to complete and simply e-mail back.  Feel free to include any questions that you may have for us at that time.  It will be very important to have everything correct and updated on that form for extended advertising purposes.  You will also be asked to include your logo for use.  The board is very excited to offer this in Monroe County in 2024.  Many surrounding counties have begun utilizing this type of sponsorship program and it has been an awesome experience for all involved!
