The Monroe County Fair Board is focused to provide adequate grounds, facilities, and funding for youth of the community to showcase their talents by providing a means and educational experience to exhibit and compete in the various livestock and non-livestock projects of their involvement choice each year during the fair.  The board strives to conduct business in a civil manner that includes the utmost trust and respect of all involved and give all community members the opportunity to utilize the grounds and structures to their fullest potential while working with them to highlight the heritage of the community and its ties to agriculture, industry and business that are the backbone of the community.
